The University of South Wales will be looking to make it five league wins on the bounce as they travel to sixth place Swansea on Wednesday afternoon.
The away side have made five changes from their impressive 30-10 victory over Hartpury College last week, which pushed them up to third in the league.
Having impressed in difficult conditions, Wales Under 20’s second row Callum Bradbury and abrasive centre Eddie Francis have been replaced by Alex Messon and Jack Parkinson.
One other notable absentee will be winger Marcus Jones. Having scored two tries against Hartpury, the winger will be unavailable due to Sevens commitments with Ponty Butchers, who travel to Dubai this week.
USW could be as high as second if they claim a fifth straight league win at Sketty Lane. Conversely, the home side stopped a wretched run of four consecutive defeats last week with a hard fought 31-21 away victory at UWE, who are without a point in this season’s championship campaign.
Having received a Man Of The Match award against Hartpury, flanker Sion Edwards will be looking to continue where he left off as the back row battle against Swansea could be key to the away side’s success, as they look to keep the pressure on table toppers Bristol.
