WALES Women’s manager Jayne Ludlow has named her squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Bosnia and Russia.
Ludlow has selected 23 players in her squad, compared to the 20 that were chosen to face England at St Mary’s in the last World Cup Qualifier.
Wales take on Bosnia in Swansea on June 7, before welcoming third-placed Russia to Newport Stadium the following Tuesday.
Boston United goalkeeper, Olivia Clarke, Arsenal Ladies midfielder, Tamsyn Sibana and Cyncoed Ladies striker, Grace Horrell all receive their first senior call-ups to the squad.
Midfielder Ffion Morgan is the only other player who was not selected for the clash with the Lionesses, after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Ludlow is able to call upon the experience of Jess Fishlock, Natasha Harding and record goalscorer Helen Ward, but Bristol City Ladies loanee, Charlie Estcourt misses out through injury.
Wales came out on top with a 1-0 victory over Bosnia earlier in the campaign, before playing out a goalless draw with Russia in Saint Petersburg.
The squad in full: Laura O’Sullivan, Claire Skinner, Olivia Clarke, Loren Dykes, Sophie Ingle, Hayley Ladd, Rhiannon Roberts, Elise Hughes, Alice Griffiths, Gemma Evans, Natasha Harding, Ffion Morgan, Jess Fishlock, Angharad James, Rachel Rowe, Kylie Nolan, Melissa Fletcher, Nadia Lawrence, Tamsyn Sibanda, Grace Horrell, Helen Ward, Kayleigh Green, Hannah Miles.
