The University of South Wales travels to Cyncoed Campus for the opening fixture of the BUCS Premier League South Division.
The two sides met a total of three times last season, after playing each other in the Premier League South, as well as in the semi-final of the BUCS Nationals.
Cardiff Metropolitan are the reigning BUCS National Champions, retaining it for a second consecutive year.
The last meeting between the two sides, saw the Archers beat Steve Savage’s men 2-0, with Jordan Lam and Matt Swindlehurst netting two second-half goals at Cyncoed Campus, to progress to the final.
The University of South Wales have made a number of additions to the first team squad, recruiting former Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Jordan Whittingham, as well as Yeovil Town defender Charlie Fripp.
Welsh Football League Division One top goalscorer Danny Williams, who plays for Haverfordwest County, has also joined.
