USW Women’s 2nd will be hoping to jump off the bottom of the table and get their first Bucs League points this season when they travel to Carmarthen.
5th place USW’s only league match was against Swansea Women’s 2nd at the Sport Park, where they were defeated 2-0. Despite this, they did beat the same team last Wednesday in a cup match. USW will be hoping that this momentum will help them climb the table and get back in contention.
University of Wales Trinity St David Carmarthen Women’s 1st currently sit in 3rd on three points. They have currently played two BUCS League matches, one more than their opponents.
Both have been high scoring matches, with the latest being a 4-0 hammering away to Gloucestershire 2nd. However, they started incredibly strongly, with a 6-0 thrashing over University of Wales Trinity St David Swansea Women’s 1st.
Despite being in a good position in the league, a 0-3 home defeat in the Cup to University of Plymouth Women’s 1st will make sure they will not be short of motivation come match day.
After this, USW welcome Trinity St David Swansea Women’s 1st to the Sport Park, whereas Trinity St David Carmarthen Women’s 1st travel to top of the league Swansea.
