FOLLOWING an up-and-down start to the season, USW look to get their season back on track with a win against Cardiff University.
USW sit fifth in the BUCS Rugby Union Western 1A league after four games. Coached by Mark Hutton, USW lost their first two games of the season, but have won their last two.
Last week, USW defeated the University of Bath Women’s 1st, who sit fourth in the division, by a score of 27-15. Scrum-half Niamh Tinman bagged herself a hat-trick of tries on her USW debut.
USW will be matching up against top of the league Cardiff University this week. It looks to be a tough challenge for USW as Cardiff University are currently undefeated this season.
Cardiff University scraped by Cardiff Met after winning 12-10 last week. Before that, Cardiff University were on a tear, beating Bath 60-17, University of Southampton 40-0, and University of Gloucestershire 63-0.
