A scrappy draw left both USW and Swansea in a dangerous predicament with just three league games remaining.
The two sides are level on points near the foot of the Western League 2B, one point above bottom side Cardiff and still harbouring relegation fears.
The game started with USW pressing Swansea in their defensive third, and a Corey McDonald goal after just two minutes handed USW the lead.
USW continued with their attacking dominance as Ben Rose Miles came close with an effort just wide of the net 13 minutes in.
Miles continued to display his skill as he pivoted past the Swansea defence and again threatened the goal with a shot from the edge of the area.
Swansea then had a disallowed goal following a break in play after 20 minutes, David Ettah with the strike.
Swansea crept back into the game nearer the end of the half with constant pressure and quick passing.
Ettah finally provided the breakthrough for Swansea with an equaliser in the 32nd minute.
Miles came close at the end of the half but saw an effort go narrowly wide.
In the 42nd minute Miles eventually found himself a goal as he weaved in and out of the Swansea defence and cut across the keeper to gain the lead.
After leading 2-1 at the break USW failed to press home their advantage, both sides tussled in centre field for large periods with neither able to threaten the goal.
With the two teams struggling to breakdown the opposition defence it was clear a moment of magic was needed.
This moment came from Swansea midfielder Alex Rose who wiped out the deficit for the visitors. Rose picked up the ball on the edge of the 18-yard box, beat a defender and slotted the ball into the bottom right corner.
USW were unable to regain the lead and were forced to settle for a draw.
