TODAY sees a title decider in Treforest as USW 3rd host second placed Cardiff 4th in a game that has important permutations on the outcome of the where the trophy is headed.
One point is all that separates the top three, as Bristol 4th lead the way on goal difference, closely followed by Cardiff and then USW.
USW have won five of their last six games, and in that span, they only lost to Bristol by three goals to two in what was a close encounter.
There was a different favour in fortunes a week later in a 4-3 victory at the hands of UWTSD Carmarthen 1st has put USW well and truly in the hunt for the championship, and their best placed finish in the Western 4B for three years.
Cardiff are also in contention for the title, and will be looking to avenge their last meeting with their South Wales counterparts that ended in a 1-0 defeat.
Cardiff’s form is also good though. A defeat last time out to Bristol is accompanied by two wins and a draw in their last four games.
Both teams will be playing to win, but to win the league, they’ll be needing USW 4s to repeat their previous meeting and beat Bristol again.
Confidence will be flowing through both Cardiff and USW’s veins however, with a title on the line and both teams going for it, goals could be aplenty.
