Reaction: University of South Wales Men’s 1st captain Dominic Roberts happy after 6 – 0 victory over Swansea University Men’s 2nd

USW Men’s 1st bounced back from last week’s defeat against Gloucestershire with a dominating six goal victory over Swansea University Men’s 2nd.

The home side had three different players getting themselves braces, with goals coming from Captain Dominic Roberts,  Joe Lee and Harry Longin.

After the game USW captain Dominic Roberts spoke about his team’s performance.  Roberts was happy with his team’s possession and said: “We were a lot more confident on the ball and the defence was excellent.”

A jubilant Roberts added that he was  “…very happy with the performance but we need to work on ground balls, to make the game less scrappy for next week.”

USW’s next game is away at Cardiff Met Men’s 1sts on the 29th January.
