NEIL Harris’ Cardiff City make the trip to the City Ground on Saturday as they take on an in-form Nottingham Forest side.

The Bluebirds salvaged a point in a 2-2 draw at Charlton Athletic in Harris’ first game at the helm, before dispatching Stoke City in a 1-0 victory on Tuesday evening.

Saturday’s hosts are now unbeaten in their last four, with their most recent game being a 4-0 away win over Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday.

Harris has enjoyed a successful start to life in South Wales, but during his pre-match conference he was cautious about the forthcoming task at hand.

“I’m pleased with the points return from my first two games.

“I couldn’t have had much tougher start, looking at the fixtures coming up. If we are taking one game at a time, then Forest is a monumental challenge in itself.

“We want to keep the momentum going but we know they are on a roll as well.”

The Cardiff boss will also be extra wary of the Reds’ top scorer this season, Lewis Grabban.

Grabban, who played alongside Harris at Millwall, has found the back of the net eight times so far this season, most recently against QPR in midweek.

“What Forest have added this year is the defensive mindset. They’ve been searching for that and they’ve done well defensively.

“They look like a good, all-round team. I know some players quite well, Lewis Grabban for example, I played with at Millwall a while ago.

“We have to make sure we deal with their threats as we did against Stoke. We have to find ways of hurting them and that’s where teams have struggled. They can play quite deep and narrow.”

Kick-off at the City Ground is 3pm on Saturday 30 November.
