USW 6th coach Sam Morris insisted the result didn’t reflect his team’s performance in a 4-0 defeat against UC Somerset.

A hat-trick from Somerset’s Luke White did the damage, with a further strike from Tom Creed rounding off the emphatic scoreline.

But Morris refused to criticise his side in the aftermath, believing they deserved more.

“We dominated the game, making good chances in the first and second half, but they were more clinical on goal,” he said

“They had four chances and scored four goals”

When asked about the positives that could be taken from the game, Morris stated: “We were very positive on the ball at times.

“We created a number of chances on goal which we haven’t done this season, and we will certainly take these things into the training session on Monday.”

On his team’s recent form, Morris added: “With our last six fixtures picking up only one point, going into our last few games we need some improvement.”
