USW 3rd manager Rob Bailey couldn’t hide his disappointment after his side failed to match the levels of performance he expects in a 2-2 draw with USW 4th at the Sport Park.

Bailey lamented his side’s first half performance as they went into the interval 0-1 down in a game they were big favourites to win against opposition struggling at the bottom of the table.

The second half was a different story with Bailey’s boys creating enough opportunities to get the win.

But they failed to convert enough of them, leaving the boss distinctly frustrated.

Bailey said: “I think we probably had about 10-15 chances while they had two or three, which makes it disappointing.

Yet Bailey admitted at one stage he was expecting worse.

“After the first half I was expecting to come away with no points, so I’ll take the one,” he said.

“We just need to keep winning games, if we keep winning games and playing to our potential then no one will be able to touch us.”
