This week’s Podcast of the Week comes from our final year students, it’s the weekly Rugby podcast Tee & Eggs.

Hosted by Dylan James, Ben Jones, James Dodd and Joe Mansfield the Tee & Eggs podcast concentrates on Welsh Rugby.

Created at the start of 2019, the boys have welcomed a number of guests on the podcast, such as Rugby Union Players Scott Baldwin and Steven Shingler.

Alongside the Podcast they have a Tee & Eggs website where they post match reports for Wales, Cardiff Blues, Dragons, Ospreys and the Scarlets. They also cover all news coming out of Welsh Rugby.

Great steps have been made with the podcast as Tee & Eggs has now been made available to listen to on Spotify.

One of the members Dylan James talks about how the podcast is growing.

“Tee & Eggs is going strong at the moment, especially in the last term, we’ve welcomed a couple of guests and we’re on Spotify now too. We have the website as well which is fun to create content for, and most importantly, we all enjoy it!”

Another member of the group Ben Jones talks about the guests they have managed to bring onto the podcast.

“So, we’ve had Scott Baldwin on the podcast, as well as Steven Shingler and we’ve spoke to Nathan Parker, a graduate of the course from last year who is running his own successful podcast too. We’ve also spoken to Shane Lewis-Hughes’ old PE teacher about his rise to the Welsh team. It’s really good to interview them and talk to them about their stories; what it was like at the top level of rugby, how proud an old teacher is of a pupil and how he knew he was special and in Nathan’s case, how life after university has led him down the path of interviewing world rugby greats, all from his dining room. Rugby isn’t my first sport, but I love recording the podcast week after week!”
