THIS week’s ‘Fresher of the Week’ is Alex Wallace.
From Llanelli, Alex is currently 18 and enjoys supporting Cardiff City.
He emphasised how much fun his first year of studying sports journalism at USW has been.
“I’m really enjoying the first year of the course so far, with the current climate taken on board I still feel like I’m able to enjoy and feel immersed in the course,” said Alex.
“I’ve enjoyed learning the techniques for writing about different sports and have been putting that into practise on my own blog.”
In addition to be a Cardiff City fan, Alex loves all things football and Formula One.
He explained what he wants his future to look like.
“My future aims are to be able to work for a major company in the industry such as Sky Sports covering a range of sports.
“If the option was there, I’d like to work as part of a football clubs or F1 team’s media setup.”
