OVER the course of the ongoing pandemic, Llandudno Albion have gone above and beyond to support their local community.
The North Wales based side have been donating all proceeds from their club raffles to support local foodbanks in their time of need.
Ty Hapus community centre in Llandudno is one of the causes they have supported, along with a second foodbank in the nearby town of Conwy.
As a number of players from the club have been furloughed during these challenging times, they have been delivering food parcels to vulnerable people in the local area.
Three players have gone the extra mile- quite literally! Across five days, they walked the incredible figure of 177 miles from Prestatyn down to Cardiff Castle to raise money for the foodbanks.
In total, this walk raised an additional £2150 for their cause and they hope to raise even more!

The club have designed a kit which they are selling to raise extra funds for the charities, priced at £27 for an adults shirt and £35 for a full kit for a child, with free printing on the back.

Chairman Paul Cheung said: ‘One of these kits feeds a family for a day so we want to sell as many of these kits as we can. Every kit counts.’
