LEVEL Playing Fields Chief Executive Owain Davies expressed his goals for the charity to get the very best for all disabled sports fans.
LPF is a charity that is solely focused on promoting a positive and inclusive experience for disabled supporters.
14 million of the population in the United Kingdom are disabled, which makes it the largest minority group in any population.
And speaking as part of USW’s ‘Lockdown Relief’, Owain Davies made clear that the organisation are striving to be a part of enabling disabled supporters to have premium experiences at sporting venues, when they are allowed to return.

“It is incredibly important but it is a human right (for any fan to enjoy a sporting event at the venue),” Davies said.
“People have the choice to do whatever they want to do, whether it is to go and watch your football team or rugby team play on the weekend.
“The freedom has got to be there for somebody to be able to choose to do that.”
As stated by Disabled Word,Ā countries with life expectancies over 70 years of age, people spend on average 8 years, or 11.5 per cent of their life span, living with disabilities.
“There is a huge cross-section of people who have a disability, and the statistics highlight that disability becomes more prevalent with age.
“In one context if you are season ticket holder all your life, you could develop a disability and then for whatever reason you can’t go but you have been doing it all of your life.
“That would obviously be a really difficult experience to deal with and that’s why we (Level Playing Fields) maintain the standards that we have now.
“What we have to recognise is the standards we have now, have to be seen as the minimum and we are aiming for Everest.”
