LAST month, first and second year sports journalism students at University of South Wales took part in their very own Lockdown Relief.
Throughout it, they told several inspiring and heart-warming charity stories.
One student that was involved was second year student, Harrison Kidd.
He explained the importance of the day and how he himself played a part in the success.
“I think it’s really important to highlight some of the good work that has been done, especially during a time where many people have been struggling mentally in lockdown,” he said.
“It’s always good to see positive stories out there.
“I got involved by interviewing Caldicot club captain Shane Reece and spoke to him via Zoom about the amazing charitable work and money that has been raised for Caldicot in the community and other charities.”
