A USW 3rds team struggling for numbers endured a heavy defeat at the hands of Swansea at the Sport Park.
A hat-trick from Ernest Armo and further goals from Peter Selby and Rhys Williams made it a comfortable afternoon for the visitors.
USW, stymied by a lack of available players, began the first half slowly and were punished.
Selby opened the scoring for Swansea in the 13th minute after a low driven cross into the box – which USW defenders failed to clear – allowed him to fire in from close range.
It got worse in the 17th minute when Williams drove home the second from just outside the penalty area.
USW went in at half-time 2-0 down but fortunate not to be further adrift. They began the second period well, enjoying good possession and territory but without making it count.

They had nothing but a curling effort from inside the box by Rhys Alden, following a corner, which forced Swansea 2nd keeper Lourencio Pereira into a save, to show for their early pressure.
And the promising start to the half came to an end when Armo smashed the ball into the top corner of the USW net following a headed flick on by Tiago Cordoso.
Armo grabbed his second of the game after Sam Opeseitan cleared the ball from a USW free-kick. The clearance dropped to Armo who spun the defender and raced in on goal before a tidy finish.
The hosts’ misery was compounded when Armo claimed his hat-trick with a finish into the top corner after beating a defender.
