Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut was angry following his side’s 3-2 home defeat to Championship strugglers Norwich City.
Bulut was visibly annoyed post-match after striker Adam Idah secured all three points for the Canaries.
“Today we saw two different 45 minutes – we were dominating the first half but the game was 90 minutes,” said Bulut of his Bluebirds.
“I expected my team to come out in the second half the same as the first, but we couldn’t put that performance on the pitch.”
Bulut made three substitutions in the 71st minute, but criticised their effectiveness, as well as his team’s overall lack of desire.
“Our substitutes didn’t really help us,” he said.
“In prior weeks it has been different, our substitutes have won us points. Today it was not like this and this was also a key as to why we lost the game 3-2.
“We didn’t fight, we were not concentrating, we lost balls too quickly and allowed the opposition too many chances.
“We knew exactly what they would do with long balls in behind but some players were not focussed enough.”

Forward Karlan Grant missed a crucial chance for Cardiff when he was played through one-on-one with Norwich goalkeeper George Long, a miss which proved costly for the Bluebirds.
“In football you create chances and if you don’t score you have to continue to work hard,” Bulut added.
“Grant was unlucky not to score but we still allowed our opponents to score from easy chances.”
Perry Ng was a critical absence at right-back for Cardiff, having grabbed three goals and one assist for his side in the Championship this season.
When asked about his decision not to play Ng, Bulut added: “He got injured yesterday in training.
“I think it is not serious, he had a kick to his knee and the medical team said that he would not be available.”
Cardiff drop to ninth following the defeat. Their next assignment is away to early play-off contenders Preston North End on November 25th, after the international break.
