USW 2nds netball head coach Megan Pilkington was upbeat about her team despite a 35-54 defeat to Aberystwyth 1sts.
Pilkington insisted she was buoyed by what she saw from her team, even though the result didn’t go their way.
She said: “I was really proud of the girls, we had some really good patches with some things that we need to work on.
“There’s definitely loads of positives and highlights, you could see some of the connections really coming on in our play.”
Pilkington wants to continue highlighting the positives and building on the good work the players have put in.
She added: “I’m really proud of the progress that we have made to this point.
“We won our first game and lost our last two but we have plenty to build on.
“We are looking ahead now, our connections are really coming on and we should be proud of that.
“We are confident the results will follow.”
