“Just perfect!” Boss’ verdict after classy USW cruise to victory

USW 5th team coach Josh Christie praised his team’s “perfect” performance as they cruised to a classy 2-0 victory over Aberystwyth 2nds.

A goal either side of half-time helped the hosts to steady the ship following a tough run of recent form.

“The boys were absolutely brilliant today,” he claimed, with his team showing a “perfect response” to their 9-0 loss last time out to University of Wales Trinity St David.

“It’s all about having possession and controlling the ball.

“We won’t be afraid to pass the ball back and come back if we need to.”

The home side looked free flowing, and the coach revealed this was something they had worked hard on in training recently.

“We all want to watch football like that as fans so why not play the same way?” he added.

“We’ll look to keep it the same way next game: same system and same players”.

He praised his captain Josh Doyle for an “absolutely fantastic, captain’s performance” as the skipper pitched in with a goal and assist.

“We’ll look to finish the league season strong and keep everything going,” said Christie
