UNIVERSITY of South Wales make the short trip to undefeated Cardiff University Medics in the Western Tier Seven on Wednesday.
USW are still in search of their first win of the campaign, having collected just one point from their opening two games.
In the opening game of the season they secured a draw against Exeter 6th, before falling to a 2-0 defeat against Gloucestershire 4th in their first home fixture.
The Medics, meanwhile, have enjoyed a perfect start to the campaign, winning all three of their games so far this season; scoring 18 and conceding just once.
Speaking ahead of the clash, USW manager Sam Morris said: “The game against Cardiff has come at the right time for us as a team. We have been able have a week’s reflection to look back on both performances against Exeter and Gloucestershire and the squad are ready to put the wrongs, right against Cardiff.
“We have had three training sessions to break down our system and let players understand their roles and ways we can create more chances and punish teams within the final third.
“The league table does not concern me in any game I coach. We take it game by game and them [Cardiff] winning three on the bounce shouldn’t play on the minds of my players.
“If anything, it should motivate us more to bring the game to them.”
Kick-off is at 2:00pm.
