University of South Wales 1st are looking to continue their cup campaign with a win as they host Swansea University Women’s 2nd.
In their previous fixture, USW earned a narrow 43-34 victory against city rivals; Cardiff Women’s 4th. The home side fuelled their cup aspirations with a dramatic extra-time victory over Cardiff Met 5th the previous week.
Swansea go into the fixture unbeaten, having won all three of their games so far this campaign.
The matchup will be the away side’s first game of the Western Conference Cup.
USW coach, Megan Jones, expressed the growing morale of the team and looked forward to the clash against Swansea University.
“The team is growing with confidence after two wins on the bounce, we are always humble in victory and defeat.
“We are ready for what tomorrow brings and hopefully we will bring our A game’.
Kick off is 3:30pm.
