UNIVERSITY of South Wales head east to Gloucestershire as they face a Hartpury outfit looking to do the double over their Welsh counterparts.
USW have bounced back in scintillating fashion after an opening day defeat at home to this week’s opponents, winning four games on the bounce.
They replied perfectly by hitting Bournemouth for six in a convincing win 6-2 win. A week later, Southampton Solent were the next to face the sword as USW defeated them 4-0. Local rivals Cardiff Metropolitan were then dispatched for three without reply as USW made it three wins in a row.
Last week, USW hit six again as they defeated Marjon 1st 6-3 in a high scoring game, keeping their winning streak intact.
Hartpury’s luck isn’t as good. After defeating USW 4-1 on opening day, they haven’t won in their three games after, but will have added motivation to do the double over a talented USW side looking to continue their good form.
USW – under new head coach Kath Morgan this term – will hope to continue their red hot form and make it five wins in a row, and get revenge on their opponents after their loss earlier this season.
Kick off in Hartpury is at 11:30am.
