USW will be looking to build on their last match with another victory when they host Cardiff University in their penultimate match of the season.
Last time out, USW gained a close 0-1 over Bristol University and go into this game on a run of four consecutive victories in the BUCS Men’s Western Tier 3 league.
The home side sit atop of the league with three games to go and are ahead by five points which they will be hoping to extend to an eight point cushion by the end of the game.
Cardiff University have been enjoying a fairly solid season for themselves and could still catch the league leaders but only with a win against USW in todays game will this be achievable.
This will be the first time the two sides play each other this season with the second game being USW’s last game of the season away to Cardiff University where they could be handed the league trophy.
With USW hoping to all but secure the league title it promises to be an eventful match at the USW Sport Park.
